Mudumalai Safari and Elephant Feeding camp Reopens after Covid

Mudumalai Tiger reserve will be open for tourists from 9th Jan 2021.. As per Go ms 17 revenue and disaster management  dt 08-01-2021, Go ms 820 R&D dt  23-12-2020

With all Covid safety measures in place.

The following Guidelines and directions must be be followed by tourists visiting Mudumalai Tiger reserve as given below

1.It is compulsory for all visitor to wear either triple layer mask or N95 Mask while in the park and also undergo thermal scanning before entering the park.

2. Valid ID proof must be presented when asked, medical condition and travel history to be maintained.

3. Social distancing is mandatory to a minimum of 2 meters to be maintained at any point of time.

4. The Vehicle safari timings will be extended by an hour to reduce the density of crowd.

Current Safari timing

   6.30 am to 10.00 am 

   2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

5. Only alternate seats will be booked. The safari vans will opetate on 50% seating capacity

6. Cottages and Rooms, Guest  houses and dormitories will be opened for public from 11-01-2022.

7.In all categories of rooms maximum 2 persons will be allowed per room

8. Dormitories can be allowed up to 50% occupancy.

9. Elephant camp also will be open from  8.30 am to 9.00 am and 5.30 pm to 6.00 pm with maximum of 30 pe rsons on each occasions .Social distancing need to be maintained.

10. Persons with symptoms such as cough and fever must refrain from entering the park and will will not be allowed to enter the park if such symptoms exist during thermal scanning.
