Life During and After Covid @ Deep Jungle Home Resort Bandipur

Finally Deep Jungle home was opened for tourist from first week of November after the 7 months of complete Covid Lock down period.

Covid Precautions Taken at Deep jungle home resort Mudumalai Bandipur for the safety of guests

1, Hand sanitization during chicken as well as finding hall entrance for convenience of guests

2, Temperature checks of all guests entering Deep Jungle Home

3, Proper sanitization of rooms and bedding after each guest checks out and checks in

4, Buffets are cancelled and to A la carte system for dining is brought in.

5, To maintain crowd only 8 rooms are being booked for guests

How we survived during lockdown

1, Servicing Staff was engaged in farming activities to grow organic vegetables and black rice (paddy) to meet our daily vegetable needs.

2, Employed some tribes to complete the maintenance of all rooms

3, Without human interference the campus got filled in by more wildlife. Became favorite hunting grounds of large cats. Elephants checked in most of the days to taste our jackfruits and baby bamboo.

4,Otters who were rarely seen at the stream attached to Deepjungle home became regular visitors.

5, The whole are became lot more serene with zero vehicle pollution which facilitated a clearer view of the Western Ghats and waterfalls that flow on these mountains.

It was our pleasure to spend the lockdown days in this beautiful paradise full of wildlife and greenery. Feel privileged to have been experiencing this down to the earth life style.
